Same factory, same standards, different starting point
You own the design, or you start from ours
The distinction matters before the first email: it decides what you send, who holds the tooling, and how fast a quote can be fixed. Both routes run through the same presses and the same inspection.
OEM Your geometry, our tooling
Built to your drawing
You send the 3D file or a sample. We return a DFM note in 48 hours: what will not mold, what tolerance the process can hold, where the gate should sit. Then a fixed tooling price and a unit price by quantity. The tool is yours once it is paid for.
Existing platforms across six domains: masking plugs, O-rings, liners, rollers, kitchen goods. Colour, logo, packaging and kit configuration change; the mold does not. +3 days when the specification is fixed up front.
Not a catalogue of shapes — six process positions. Each domain carries its own parameters, its own boundaries and its own failure modes, written down. Pick the row that matches what you are holding.
Every one of these appears in the quotation, not only on this page. If a value cannot be held on your part, the DFM note says so before tooling starts — that conversation is cheaper before the mold, not after.
±0.05 mmOn LSR diameters, first article and per lot.
30–80 Shore AVMQ and LSR, including 30 A for sealing lips.
200 specsMasking matrix, M3–M30 threads, DIN 13.
320+ P/NFuser rollers in cross-reference, rebuild included.
04 — How a quote happens
Three steps, three dates
From your file to a part you can approve
Most custom-silicone inquiries take three or four email rounds to become quotable. This is the shortest path we know: send the four things, get two documents back.
Step 01 · Send the input
A 3D file, a drawing, a sample or an OEM part number
One photo with a ruler beats five paragraphs of description. If the file is incomplete we say which dimension is missing.
Reply within 24 hours
Step 02 · The documents
Get the DFM note and a fixed quote
Two pages: what will not mold and why, gate and ejection, tolerance per feature. Then tooling price, unit price by quantity, and the date T1 samples leave the press.
In 48 hours, in writing
Step 03 · The run
Approve T1, then run
T1 samples with a dimension report. You approve the golden sample, we hold it against every subsequent lot. Existing-mold orders ship in 10 working days.
T1 in 30 days
05 — What we don’t do
Stated before you ask
The boundaries are part of the specification
A supplier who accepts everything is telling you they have not run enough projects to know where the process fails. These five are declined on purpose.
Silicone bonded to PP / PESurface energy 29–31 mN/m. Mechanical interlock only — change the substrate or the design.
Fuel and aromatic-oil serviceSilicone swells and loses strength. FKM is the correct material; we name it instead of quoting.
Regrind in food-contact compoundsTraceability ends at the regrind bag. No lot documentation, no order.
Glass-filled PC above 30%Bond strength collapses at the interface. Plasma plus primer, or a different substrate.
“100% in-house” claimsSome processes are partnered and labelled as such on the page. Nothing is presented as ours when it is not.
For engineersSend a 3D file, get a DFM note
Two pages in 48 hours: what will not mold, and what it will cost to make it mold correctly.
